Privacy and terms

2create is a project of BBJL BV. This page explains which data 2create uses, what for, and who it is shared with.

Your drawings

Your drawings stay on your own device. 2create sends them nowhere unless you share something yourself or use a feature that needs an image (the AI features, drawing together or an online game).

AI features

For the AI features (AI colouring page, the teacher, watch-along tips, custom lessons and game scores) the app sends your request and, when needed, a scaled-down image of your drawing to the 2create server. The server has it answered by an AI service: Claude by Anthropic (United States). Anthropic processes the data only to produce the answer and, under its own terms, does not use it to train its AI. If that service is unavailable or your credit has run out, an AI on Daylit's own servers (Netherlands) answers instead. 2create does not send your name or e-mail address.

What the server keeps

The 2create server does not keep drawings from AI requests. It does count AI requests per device (a random code, not a name) for the daily limit. If you rate an AI colouring page with stars, we keep the stars with your short description (for example "puppy") so the AI learns what people like; they are deleted after 90 days. To limit abuse the server keeps an encrypted form of your IP address for at most one day. In the Play Store version the server also keeps a one-way code derived from your device (not your name, not an advertising ID) with the date the free trial started and how much AI credit has been used, so that this does not restart after reinstalling.

Playing online and drawing together

In a game room the other players see the name you type and what you draw. The room server keeps nothing: no drawings, no names and no addresses. A room disappears as soon as everyone has left.

Random matching

If you choose Random match, the 2create server puts you together with players you do not know. You then play under an automatic nickname (never your real name), wrong guesses from others are not shown as text and images are not shared. Open rooms stay on the server for at most 2 minutes. If you report someone, we keep a non-reversible identifier of their device for 30 days; anyone reported by 3 players cannot use random matching for a month.

Friends group and daily challenge

For a friends group the server keeps the group code, the first names you enter and when someone was last there. If you leave the group, your name is deleted.

Account and licence

For a licence you use your e-mail address (or Sign in with Google). We keep your e-mail address, your licence and which devices use it. We only send mail that belongs to signing in or your licence. Purchases in the app go through Google Play; on the website through the payment service you choose (such as Mollie or Stripe). We never see payment details.

Ideas and the name contest

If you send in an idea or a name, we keep your text and, if you fill it in, your e-mail address to contact you. Your e-mail address is deleted when it is no longer needed.

Children

Under 16? Ask your parents first whether you may use the AI features, online games and an account.

Where it runs

The 2create server and the room server run at Daylit in the Netherlands. Only the AI requests go, as described above, to Anthropic in the United States.

Your rights

You may ask which data we have about you, and have it corrected or deleted. Use Actions › Send an idea or wish in the app, or the ideas button on this site.

Delete your account

In the app: tap 👤 and then Delete account. Can't use the app any more? Enter your account's e-mail address here; we delete your account, your licence and your device list within 30 days. Your drawings only exist on your own device.
